Anyone been kicked off financial subreddits just for mentioning Bitcoin?
Just curious if there's a lot digital asset proponents here that apparently traditional finance subs can't handle. It seems that "hyping" is linking objective data about how BTC is a better store of value than USD and can improve long-term returns for conventional portfolios. I guess mods don't like objective data with sources cited. Interestingly, although getting down voted is a norm, r/Bogleheads, of all subs, has not booted me yet as opposed to multiple other subs.
It reminds me of a recent Preston Pysh podcast where the guest, a CFP, described the intolerance of a professional financial forum he was a part of. Eventually, they forced him out, not literally because he left volitionally but it was clear his thoughts were not appreciated. As time went on, a number of the participants would contact him thanking him for his perspective and would agree with a lot of what he had to say.
