Banned from r/Bitcoin for mentioning aliens and quantum computing threats

Tried to get mental juices flowing with thought-provoking posts (and hoping for well-thought-out replies) on the r [SLASH] Bitcoin subreddit, instead ended up being banned with an immature response from a moderator:

First you post a stupid thread about aliens and now you post a stupid thread about quantum computers. Look at the these charts.

My first post was asking about the threat to Bitcoin if an announcement was made that we had made alien contact, and my second post was linking to a YouTube video which suggests quantum computers could break encryption.
