Banxa scam?

Wanted to buy some bitcoin and start investing so I downloaded trust wallet and spent 50$ on bitcoin, ended up being sent through Banxa and never got my BTC

I’ve known about crypto for awhile but never felt the need to invest in it but I think it’s pretty shitty trust wallet lets you buy from someone who will scam you. I guess I learned my lesson and do more search next time.
