Been there, done that. BTC Core and killing Bitcoin.

This is hilarious,

Suposibly there is a grassroots movement in the BTC Bitcoin community that thinks money should just be money. All the power to them, I have similar beliefs.

We part ways, as I can't tolerate the idea that there should be a transaction limit when using money.

Nonetheless, they are small blockers who don't want to allow appending an increased data limit to a BTC transaction, fair enough, They believe it should be a setting, fair enough. It'd be nice if one could configure a cost per bite, and allow a free market to emerge for transaction data limits. But that's not an option.

So what do they do?

They reject Peter Todd's proposal to increase penned transaction data limits and put the control of those limits in the hands of Core developers. (because the limit is too generous, not because they reject free market principles or centralized decision-making, despite being addend advocated for decentralization of power, maybe that's a sub text that's supposed to be understood.)

Evidently not when you look at the solution. The solution: move to a crazy person's Luke Dashjr, Implementation of Bitcoin, Bitcoin Knots.

OMG I can't, these BTC Bitcoin should just be money have no idea, what Knots, and its lead developer represent.
