Beginner question about transferring crypto to Iran

Hi everyone,

I'm in Iran and recently did a freelance job for a friend in the US. Now, he wants to pay me $100, but we're not sure how to do it because of the sanctions and the complexities of cryptocurrencies. I've used BTC and BCH a bit before, but my friend has never dealt with cryptocurrencies.

  1. I'm wary of using local exchanges or brokers, and I'm hesitant to share my ID with them due to privacy concerns. Foreign brokers either don't operate here or pose risks. I'd rather have my own wallet and receive the payment directly into it, but I don't know which wallet to use and if there would be a high fee for a direct transfer.

  2. What cryptocurrency would be the most cost-effective for my friend to buy and transfer, considering our limited knowledge in crypto? Do you have any recommendations for a beginner-friendly website? Once he has the cryptocurrency, what's the best way for him to transfer it to me?

  3. What is a safe and legal way for my friend to pay me in crypto? I want to ensure he doesn't encounter any legal issues or whatever problem.

  4. What crypto (stablecoin?) should I exchange the received crypto for, to ensure that its value remains stable over the next 2-3 years? And what's the best and cheapest way to exchange them?

Any input would be greatly appreciated.
