Bitcoin as a store of value. Bitcoin Cash as a payment network in stores etc?

So upon reading the book: The Bitcoin Standard, I'm starting to wonder about a few things. One of them being: if Bitcoin is a coin which will be seen as a store of value, so not as a payment option due to 'slow' block times and high fees, than what coin will be a good payment option than? Is it bitcoin cash which is faster and more cheap, or could it be some other coin like maybe ripple which is also cheap and fast. Must be a coin with a cap on it's supply I would say. It also must be one that has low fees, almost none, and from which the network is fast anough and can also handle big blocks which would be full of transactions. Let me now what you guys think.
