Bitcoin Blake2b hardfork reduced the default maximum block size to ~300 kB.

DEFAULT_BLOCK_MAX_SIZE = 300000

Current blocks are around 300 kB with weights around 800 kWU https://mempool.guide

Cant wait to see how this impacts transaction throughput, transaction fees, and adoption.
