Bitcoin Maxis: Would You Use an Atomic Lending Protocol on BTC?

Got a question for all the Bitcoin maxis out there. If there were an atomic lending protocol on Bitcoin, would you be interested in lending your BTC for yield? Or maybe you'd consider borrowing against it to cover expenses in the real world?
