Blackrock has barely any Bitcoin holdings compared to how many customers they have.

As of May 17, 2024, BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) holds 276,759 bitcoin.

BlackRock has clients in over 100 countries, including individual investors, pension funds, endowments, foundations, sovereign wealth funds, companies, and governments. As of December 31, 2023, BlackRock manages $10 trillion in assets under management (AUM) for more than 120 million people worldwide.

Therefore 276,759 bitcoin / 120 million clients gives 0.002306325 BTC per client. In dollar terms only around $160 per client.

I realize the vast majority of those clients aren't part of the ibit BTC etf. But it puts Blackrocks 276,759 bitcoin into perspective and gives any holders with more than 0.0023 BTC recognition.
