Block War

So small blockers argument was that big blocks would eventually lead to storage difficulties in the future, making individual node running more difficult, so less centralized. Big blockers argued that scaling would not be possible and didn’t like the idea of running a layer on top of btc? Am I getting it right? Bitcoin.com says bip 141 (SegWit) took 14 days of 95% of miners to signal for the upgrade. You guys are saying that because of censorship, an entity was able to swing 95% of miners in their favor?

I play devils advocate with myself about this topic sometimes, and I’m def not the most educated on the subject, what are y’all’s thoughts on it?
