Books or articles to read on Bitcoin? Also, can I transfer my entire retirement into Bitcoin?

I was wondering if anyone here knew of any books or articles that would be helpful to read when considering a switch from fiat currency to Bitcoin as a normal means of transacting?

I have been watching the steady devaluing of my money every month on my budget and I am weary of the Federal Reserve, not to mention the entire western monetary system. But before I jump off into Bitcoin and attempt to make it my primary means of transacting, I want to make sure that it would be a good decision.

Again, I am not looking at Bitcoin as an investment. I want to make it my primary transacting currency and use it to hold the value I produce from my work.
