Sent 33 BCH to cold storage - transaction went through in less than 1 minute, fee was less than 1 cent

Sent .1 BTC to cold storage - transaction started a half hour ago and is still pending, fee was 75 cents

You can't tell me BTC is superior for any other reason than network effect - or maybe you can? Please enlighten me
