Btc discussion with wife

So we have hodled since 2016..I think, it's been a long time. Lately the BTC convo in the house esp from my wife has been that when it hits 100k she wants to spend some of it. Not a lot, maybe 10%. Myself, I am against it, maybe 0.01 if it really has to. Anyway 0.01 is not going be a major thing but why spend an asset that on the way up? I dunno. Thoughts, advice, what would you do? It's not an argument we are having more like a fairly intense discussion.
