BTC is not a competitor to BCH - nor any other coin, really. Its not a competitor in the same way that Jiro (the master Sushi chef) is not a competitor to your local sushi restaurant. Because (just like Jiro - and the similarity ends there) BTC cannot sca

So even if BTC is used by institutions and governments to transaction perhaps paying hundreds or even thousands of dollars for the priviledge - for the other 99.999% of the planets transactions there are every other project to compete for the pie.

If "Bitcoin" the idea is sound and solves a real problem, it cannot be stopped.

BTC has taken itself out of the competition by choosing the route of low transaction volume (compared to what the planet needs).

Note - by saying the "similarity ends there" i am not putting down BTC. what I really mean is Jiro cannot be cloned, but blockchains can fork. You can have thousands of "Jiros" with identical skill but unfortunately since they are named "Jason" will not exactly attract the crowd - unless people really do want good sushi.
