Can someone confirm why Proton (mail, VPN, etc) doesn't accept Bitcoin Cash?

I see many privacy services like PIA and others now accepting crypto (which makes the complete process of their usage service private in actual terms) and many of them accept at leat 3 of the most popular cryptos used for payment: BTC, BCH and LTC. As I saw Proton (I liked their package which comes with a privacy mail, VPN, domain name, etc. bundled together) I saw that they only accepted BTC. Has anyone tried offering and explaining the benefits of addition of BCH for the payment method, or they're just plain maxis?
