Crypto slowing Bitcoin's adoption

I feel like Bitcoin isn't being taken as seriously as it should because it keeps being associated with crypto which is a complete scam.

I know eventually the bubble will burst, but it's really annoying seeing bitcoin's reputation being degraded because people refuse to put in the work to research a bit.

Does anyone else feel this way?
