Don't put all your eggs in one basket!

No really, don't. It's a bad idea. Especially if the basket we're talking about includes fiat money.

On the other hand, I really don't think the argument holds when we're talking about Bitcoin.

Bitcoin is not a basket... It's an iron fucking vault. All my eggs are in there and I sleep like a baby.

Anyway this is not financial advice of any kind, I just hear this phrase a lot and I really really don't think its relevant when we're talking about Bitcoin. BTC heralds a new age in finance/savings. An age of self-custody and security and without any third parties.

Would love to hear opinions.
