Dust/spam handling process in Electron-Cash.

Maybe this has been asked and answered before and if so, apologies.

I have received several dust amounts of BCH to my Electron-Cash wallet. 0.00000546 BCH for each all in the same receiving address. Up until now I have had those coins frozen in Electron-Cash, however, I would like to get rid of them to avoid possible future accidental mixing (thinking of giving Cash Fusion a spin).

My plan is to spend those coins (Coins tab --> highlight, right-click, spend) and send them back to an originating address (or to some other address).

Is this a reasonable way to deal with the issue? Any better suggestions? Thoughts on privacy implications? TIA.
