Heads-up, a user needs help.

Looks like new tactics are being applied.

It is important to not do the wrong thing, so please read the whole post.

User u/gr8ful4 is followed by downvote bots. So far reddit has done fuck all to help them. The user has a heathy stack of karma so won't be in trouble for quite some time, BUT downvotes affect visibility.

What you should NOT do:

Don't go to their user page and upvote all. It doesn't count. It also likely gets you flagged by reddit.

What you can do:

  • Make an effort to organically upvote them when you see their post with -karma.
  • Scroll down to the collapsed comments and find them to upvote
  • add RES (reddit enhanced suit) to your browser and tag them for better visibility. RES is almost a must on reddit anyway. Easy to mark trolls or Tether shills. You also see ypur total up/downvotes per user.

Thank you for coming to my TED talk. Keep on rocking community :)
