hi im new to bitcoin and i need a bit of direction

whats the best way to get started. ive been seeing others on reddit suggest that i shoukd just stack on bitcoin and forget about it for a while and use dca to turn a profit but im still unsure abt what to do pls help me out is this the best approach and how risky is this strategy?
