Hot Wallet While On The Road

So, I just bought a bigger sum of Bitcoin (keep stacking guys!) that I do not want to leave on the exchange. But I do not carry my hardware wallet with me at the moment. So I thought to at least transfer it to a safer, open-source, ideally non KYC hot wallet software (I’ve never opened any). What are your experiences, what can you recommend and why?
