How many GOLD transactions happen for the whole world? is it more than 1 transaction per person on earth every 18 years? cause if it is, thats more than BTC.

the only issue with BTC for me is and always has been its low transactions per second count. when you cant move your coins, you keep them on coinbase. you move them from coinbase account to coinbase account. there can literally be 800 million bitcoins in circulation and nobody except coinbase will know.

and if people transacted bitcoin twice in their life....when they buy it, and when they send it to their heir when they die.... it still isnt enough bandwidth for even that.
