I just need advice - Lost $800 on something I just couldn't control

Hello. I'm just here to possibly get advice on what to do, I'm just desperate at this point.

Recently I had gone and invested a bit over $800 (all of what I had) into a meme-coin expecting it to be a small profit and a fun attempt into investing, even after analysing the coin I had somehow gotten rugged by the dev despite the liquidity being burned and the coin being seemingly safe.

I just need to know if anybody here knows anything about what could cause something like this and/or how to avoid it, I just cant find any clear conclusions as to what had entirely happened as im just devastated at this
