I put 3% of my portfolio into Bitcoin and now I'm not sure why

I originally did 3% because it felt small enough that I wouldn't really care if BTC got crushed, but still enough that I'd notice if it went up.

Now I'm looking at my portfolio and wondering why I picked 3% in the first place. There wasn't really any calculation behind it. It just... felt like a reasonable number.

I don't think I'd ever be comfortable putting 10%+ into BTC, but I'm also not sure I want to have 0% either.

For people who hold BTC, how did you actually decide on your percentage? Was there some reasoning behind the number or did you basically just pick something that felt comfortable?

I'm starting to think the hardest part is figuring out how much you can hold without checking the price every five minutes lol.
