25 and new to BTC

Hi!! A few months ago l decided it was time to start investing in BTC. I'm 25, currently finishing grad school, and I don't have stable or consistent income at the moment. I make sure all my bills are paid and then some. Little by little over the last few months I've been investing my savings. It's a small and almost an insignificant amount, but l feel proud of my tiny investment. Do you think this will help me in the long term? If anyone has any tips and words of wisdom or advice to pass along, I would greatly appreciate it.
