If you died tomorrow, could your family actually recover your Bitcoin?
The failure mode nobody plans for isn't hacking — it's you losing the seed or something happening to you and nobody else being able to recover it.
Single point of failure on a piece of paper in a drawer is scarier than most exchange risk.
How are you actually handling this? Multisig with a family member, passphrase split between people, instructions with a lawyer or just hoping?
