Isnt it good to be decoupled from the stock market?

Traditionally, gold has been decoupled from the stock market and is one of the reasons it is such a powerful store of value. If the stock market crashes, that money has to go somewhere. Either fiat, or gold, or maybe this time bitcoin. Golds market cap is 1300% higher than bitcoin.
