Just getting into crypto and I'm already confused by how different every platform is

Been trying to figure out the best crypto exchange for beginners and every list I find is just sponsored content pushing whatever pays the highest referral commission. Hard to know what's actually reliable.

What I care about most: low trading fees, fast withdrawal times, decent crypto exchange customer support if something breaks, and ideally no hidden fees that show up after I've already committed. I'm not day trading just want to buy Bitcoin and a few altcoins and move them to a wallet without it costing me half my stack in fees.

Is there a platform people here have actually used long-term that ticks most of those boxes? Not looking for guaranteed returns or leverage stuff just a safe, transparent place to trade.
