Kraken VIP ink level?

Any thoughts on Kraken Ink points boost levels? I'm well above the VIP level, but they say points are not the only factor in getting VIP status, you have to apply to get VIP and what seems to be the only factor you can use to advertise yourself is monthly trading volume (which they know so not sure why theyd ask) but the lowest choice is 5 million a month. I've more than doubled the point requirement while doing much less than 1 million.

So I'm wondering what might be their though process.
