Old seed plates for empty wallet

Any suggestions for what to do with old steel seed plates for a retired wallet?

By retired I mean it no longer custodies a key for any UTXOs, balance was zero and the hardware wallet has been factory reset.

Given that they used to be so important, it feels weird to toss them in the trash. But there's nothing at risk even if they were recovered.

Has anyone had to discard old steel seed plates? I could keep them around but they shouldn't be reused and I dislike keeping junk around.
