Posting on this subreddit since r/bitcoin is censoring out my posts on this subject! I guess “spam” filters do work.

Bitcoiners, please watch this video from BitcoinMechanic explaining the current attack on Bitcoin coming from Bitcoin Core. This is a big deal and will be as big as the Blocksize War; don’t be complicit and stay on the sidelines.

TLDR: spammers are poisoning the well and trying to destroy the Bitcoin network from within.

Bitcoin’s success isn’t guaranteed. It is our job to do the following: become a node runner and use Bitcoin Knots instead of Bitcoin Core, speak out against spam on the network, and spread the word. Bitcoin is a monetary system, not a database. Keep it money and keep out spam.

I also advocate for this Bitcoin subreddit to remove Bitcoin Core from its “about” section and change it to Bitcoin Knots.
