Phrase invalid but worked before

I created a wallet back in the day with the app bread, later called BRD. Now that app doesn’t exist anymore and I tried to recover my wallet in random wallet apps, however, one seed phrase was invalid. I know it’s worked before, so one explaination could be that the old app used some kind of custom seed?

How can I recover my wallet?
