Real world use cases?

Curious what people have used bitcoin for in the real world (aside from HODLing). Personally I’ve seen the utility with being able to send money to family across the globe (anytime for relatively low cost). Wondering what some of those things you’ve used Bitcoin for?

As a side note, I love the concept of HODLing (especially for the younger generation). Life is constantly telling us to spend so, if nothing else, it’s a great tool to teach benefits of saving for the masses.
