Roger Ver accused of tax fraud

Roger Ver, known as "Bitcoin Jesus" and a significant proponent of Bitcoin, has been arrested in Spain and is facing extradition to the United States on charges of tax fraud and related offenses. The charges include mail fraud, tax evasion, and filing false tax returns, stemming from allegations that he failed to report capital gains from selling approximately $240 million worth of bitcoins in 2017 after renouncing his U.S. citizenship.
