May 22, 2010. A dev named Laszlo Hanyecz wanted to prove Bitcoin could actually buy real-world stuff. He dropped a post on Bitcointalk offering 10,000 BTC to anyone who’d order him two large pizzas. Another user took the bait, bought Papa John's with a credit card, and bagged the coins.

Back then, it was a $41 pizza order. Today, it’s the biggest fumbled bag in human history. Laszlo became an absolute ecosystem legend, and we still celebrate "Bitcoin Pizza Day" every year. Man literally digested the GDP of a small island nation, but honestly, he's the reason commercial crypto adoption even started.
