The Barrier with BTC

So I mined BTC when it was the thing to do, Sold my video cards and now I casually buy some BTC. Recently, I decided I would start putting a % of income towards BTC. I purchased my amount on BTC, it became available. I tried to transfer to my Ledger Cold wallet and it said I need to buy some USDC to transfer it (This is new). You want to know why BTC sucks? Because even when you believe in it and you're on board it's still a fucking pain in the ass to deal with. i don't want to buy $10 of USDC. I want to purchase the amount I want, pay my fee and then I want to have my BTC where I want it. It's enough to make me question why I would continue.
