The Opportunity Cost of BTC

As someone who has been regularly DCA'ing into BTC religiously over the past 3–4 years, I'm starting to question whether this is something I'll continue doing, especially as other ETFs and investment narratives begin to demonstrate stronger returns.

When you zoom out and look at the 5-year chart, BTC has appreciated by just 25.35% over that period. While I don't think anyone is expecting the explosive gains of years past, I think some serious questions need to start being asked.

Given the risk associated (not to mention recent data breaches) with the asset, BTC appears to be underperforming vs more diversified, lower-risk ETFs. At what point do we start questioning whether the risk-to-reward proposition still makes sense? I know this'll get the standard, let me buy your BTC then bro etc...but when you look at the numbers, is it the asset it once was?
