We are still early

We are still early

When I first got into bitcoin in 2017 I thought I had missed the boat. I remember sitting in my dimly lit apartment in Brooklyn obsessively watching the 1 minute candles on the bitcoin chart and waiting for a price dip which would never come. Now getting into the wee hours of the night, I took a shot of Mezcal and muttered “fuck it” under my breath and clicked buy. I was convinced I was an idiot, and that I had missed all of the upside. I had just bought my first coin for around $1400.

Seven years later, Forbes Magazine is writing about whether or not you should buy the halving. Readers are trying to figure out if they’ve missed the boat.

With pre-programmed scarcity that cannot be altered, coupled with an ever-increasing demand and the removal of barriers to entry for the mainstream, There is really only one direction bitcoin can go overtime.

Looking at one minute candles on the chart, or even the hourly candles on the chart can be very misleading and cause lots of anxiety. Zooming out to the four hour or the daily candles helps alleviate that a bit. Zooming out to the weekly and the monthly candles should give you all the confidence you need to sleep well at night.

HODL on my friends. HODL on.
