So, I take my time to learn about bitcoin everyday: a chapter of a new book, a video from a trusted source, or just re-reading the white paper. I even enjoy watching videos against bitcoin, just to see how strong arguments against it can be.
In past experience regarding orange-pilling, I've found that the moment the word "bitcoin" arises in a conversation, more often from my part, people tend to get distracted and try to either demonstrate their knowledge about the concept, or to make clear their full disagreement with it.
So for a while now I've been just randomly talking to people one on one about e-commerce, inflation, money printing, monetary base and debasement, deflation, etc.. while not saying the b word in any part of the discussion, not once. And really really listening to the other person.
What I've found is that, more often than not, people tend to be more open to discussing this problems when the problem (not the solution) is presented first. Many times even, bitcoin comes as a natural topic in the conversation when the issues whit the FIAT system become just too obvious to ignore, sometimes even throwing comments like "isn't that bitcoin thing supposed to fix some of this stuff?". I find this useful. Of course, people need to have bitcoin somewhere in their radar or have some kind of previous knowledge, and also be somewhat open to new ideas.
Bitcoin always creates a strong emotional response, and I think it's because it's presented as a solution to a problem that most people either don't fully understand or plainly refuse to acknowledge because it undermines their own intelligence.
