What if Bitcoin had been created by a company?

Sometimes I wonder...

If Bitcoin had exactly the same technology, exactly the same supply cap, exactly the same price history...

But had been created and controlled by a company instead of being decentralized.

Do you think it would still have become what it is today?

Personally, I think a huge part of Bitcoin's value comes from the fact that nobody owns it.

Curious to hear your thoughts.

Would you still trust it?
