What if Bitcoin price becomes stable? What if Bitcoin obtains billions of users around the world?

Let’s say in the year 2040, Bitcoin price has become completely stable, would people still prefer to own or buy BTC?

I ask this question because the main reason people are buying BTC is because they believe that the price will go up infinitely or at least for a long time.

But what if the price no longer goes up? Would people still buy BTC? Why or why not?

What if there are too many users on BTC network that it’s almost impossible to do transaction within a reasonable timeframe?

For example, if 8 billion people all want to use BTC, it would take years, if not decades, to do transactions for each and every user on a daily basis. The block size is too small and can’t possibly scale.

With that fact in mind, the only possible future for BTC would be to die because there’s no utility once it becomes the “store of value” for mankind like it always claims to be.

If BTC price is decided to be stable in order to avoid this outcome, then there’s no reason to invest in it because there are hundreds of other investments to choose from that would go up in price.

So what’s the point of BTC if it will just die because it can’t scale?
