What Might Happen to Bitcoin if Hedge Funds Start Manipulating It?

I’m seeing hedge funds buying up Bitcoin, and it makes me wonder if we might one day see “bad actors” amass huge amounts of it and manipulate its value like they do with stocks. Doesn’t this seem like a likely scenario? Even though Bitcoin is promising, there’s a real risk that unscrupulous people could use their holdings to mess with the market and harm Bitcoin and its investors.
