Why not use cards?

Could a giant physical set of cards containing every seed word be used instead of dice for pass phrase generation? What are the drawbacks compared to dice other than ensuring they are properly shuffled? 2048 cards will fit inside a shoebox and it could be alot faster and more reliable. Help me find the flaw in this method please.
