Why would Kim.com announce his BCH project then just never do anything?

So weird that he presented himself in this project gave a road map and a date that he was going to release then just didn't do anything and never said anything about it. It's like, it would make sense if he was trying to get something had he run a flip starter for it but as far as I know he never solicited funds.

Anyone have any idea what kim.com is up to?
