WiFi hotspots and subscribed to using p2p cash - anyone know of such an app?

A hotspot app that meters usage for connecting peers based on prepayment of some form of working p2p cash (BCH preferred obviously).

Pay a little, get some hotspot time.

Would have been a godsend in some places where getting roaming Internet on a mobile is difficult.

Locals could offset their network costs a bit by selling bandwidth to travelers this way.

To protect your privacy better as a client one might want to connect to the net via Tor over such hotspots, since otherwise the hotspot provider might sniff your traffic. But the basic connectivity should be attractive.

This question came to my mind while reading about BCH used in the mesh network in Cuba.
